World Cup Series 2018

Régate en Vue is coming back for the World Cup Series!

From June 2 to 9, 2019, the Final of the Hempel World Cup Series will take place in Marseille for the final phases of the competition.

World Cup Series: an international competition in the heart of Marseille

Coming after Japan, the United States and Italy, the sailors will now have the pleasure to sail at the Nautical Base of Roucas Blanc, the emblematic place of the dinghy sailing in the Phocaean city. In addition, this competition will serve as a real rehearsal for the upcoming Olympic Games. Indeed, it will gather the international sailing elite in preparation for the Tokyo Games in 2020, and it will take place in the future bay which will host the nautical activities of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The greatest nations of Olympic sailing will present 12 classes during the week:

  • 470 (Men & Women),
  • 49er (Men) & 49erFX (Women),
  • Finn (Male),
  • Laser (Men) & Radial Laser (Women),
  • Nacra 17 ( Mixed),
  • RS:X (Men & Women),
  • IKA (Kiteboard – Men & Women)
